Kaspars Berzins now with Zenit

Kaspars Berzins (213 cm) will be strengthening the frontcourt rotation of Zenit Saint Petersburg (Russia-VTB) this 2016. The veteran Latvian big man has been a multiple-time member of the Latvian team, beginning in 2005 up to the present. Kaspars is also quite experienced playing in the VTB United League having played for several teams in the past that participate in it. He is moving to Zenit from BC Nizhny Novgorod (Russia-VTB), where he began the 2015-16 season. Berzins played a dozen games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 9.6 ppg and 5.5 rpg. He also appeared in 13 games in the VTB United League and there he posted averages of 10.2 ppg and 5.2 rpg.
