Justin Tillman brought in by Bursaspor

Justin Tillman (203 cm, F) has left Sassari and has signed a contract with Bursaspor in Turkey. There he will join coach Dusan Alimpijevic and a team that’s in last place in the BSL standings. Bursaspor was eliminated from EuroCup play last month after posting a 3-7 record in group D.

Tillman started this season in Serie A in Italy. Tillman played 16 games total for Sassari, five of which were in international competition. In those five games, Tillman averaged 14.2 ppg and 4.8 rebounds in ChampionsLeague play.

Justin Tillman played four years at VCU. During his senior season, he averaged 18.9 ppg and 9.9 rebounds. He was chosen to the 1st Team All Atlantic 10.
