Jurica Golemac released by Krka

Jurica Golemac (209 cm) has agreed to be released from his contract by KK Krka (Slovenia-Telemach League) due to a knee injury. Golemac had surgery on his knee earlier in 2012, but the rehabilitation is going to take longer than expected so the club decided they needed to find a healthy player. In 2011-12 Golemac played for Sidigas Avellino (Italy-SerieA), where he played 30 games and averaged 11.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. Golemac started his professional career in 1996, playing in Turkey, Croatia, Russia, Israel, France, Greece and Germany. Golemac played for the Slovenian National Team in 2000-03, 2006, and 2009.
