Julian Vaughn to play for KAO Dramas

Georgetown product Julian Vaughn (205 cm, Georgetown’11) has signed with Greek team KAO Dramas (A1) for the 2013-14 season. The 24-year-old Vaughn began the 2012-13 season playing in Cyprus for Keravnos Strovolu. He played six games for them in the EuroChallenge and averaged 9.2 ppg and 7.3 rpg. In the Cypriot Division A, Julian averaged 10.7 ppg and 6.5 rpg in 26 games.

He played his rookie season with the Port of Antwerp Giants from Belgium’s D1. In 34 games in the Belgian league, Vaughn posted averages of 4.4 ppg and 2.9 rpg. In 12 EuroChallenge games he averaged 6.4 ppg and 4.0 rpg.
