Joshua Alexander to join Maccabi Beer Yaakov

Joshua Alexander (193 cm, SF Austin’09) signs with Maccabi Beer Yaakov of Israel’s National League (2nd division). He has already played his first game for Maccabi Beer and scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Alexander played for KB RTV 21 in Kosovo’s Super League in the 2012-13 season.

He started the 2011-12 season playing for Terfl Sopot from Poland’s TBL, but moved to the Bakken Bears from Denmark’s Ligaen in December 2011. In  25 games for the Bears Alexander averaged 21.6 ppg and 7.0 rpg. That season the Bears finished as the Danish League’s Regular Season Champion and eventually went on to win it all as the League’s overall Champion. Alexander was selected to participate in the Danish All-star game of that season as well.
