Former NBA forward Josh Powell (206 cm, North Carolina State’03) will continue his professional career this season with San Lorenzo de Almagra (Argentina-Liga A). Powell was released in October by the Milwaukee Bucks and has since opted to take his game to Latin America. In 2014-15 he was initially with the Houston Rockets but was released in October 2014. He also had a two-game stint in the Philippines for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings (Philippines-PBA), where he averaged 8.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg.
