Josh Childress heads Down Under

After a failed attempt to revitalize his NBA career, Josh Childress (210 cm, Stanford’04) is moving and has signed with the Sydney Kings (Australia-NBL) this 2014-15 season. Early into the 2013-14 season Childress was released by the Washington Wizards. In November 2013 the New Orleans Pelicans picked him up to hopefully reinforce their roster which was depleted due to injuries. Childress appeared in only four games for the Pelicans and averaged 0.0 ppg and 0.8 rpg. They let him go in December 2013. He hung around hoping teams in need of help would consider him, but unfortunately he did not draw any interest from any teams.
