Panionios ON Telecoms Athens (Greece-A1) has agreed to terms with Josh Asselin (210 cm, Michigan’01) and the player will be a new addition to their roster. Asselin is an American player who also holds a passport from the Dominican Republic. He was a former member of the Dominican Republic national team in 2005-06. Josh signed with Malvin Montevideo (Uruguay-LUB) on January 2015. He played three games for them in the Liga Americas and averaged 9.0 ppg and 4.7 rpg. Asselin also got a couple of games in the domestic LUB under his belt before his departure and he posted averages of 7.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg.
