Josh Asselin heads to Puerto Rico

Josh Asselin (210 cm, Michigan’01) has signed with Brujos de Guayama (Puerto Rico, BSN) after recently leaving Assignia Manresa of the Spanish ACB. The power forward has averaged 11.3 points and 3.3 rebounds over 34 games this season in Spain for Manresa. The American also played with Manresa during the 2011/2012 season where he also featured in 34 games, posting averages of 12.7ppg and 4.2rpg.

Josh Asselin has spent much of his career in Spanish Basketball, but the 34-year old did sample the Puerto Rican BSN in 2004 when he joined Gallitos de Isabela. The veteran played 10 games during that stint with Isabela and averaged 11.4ppg and 8.3rpg.
