Jordan Farmar cut by Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Maccabi FOX Tel-Aviv (Israel-Winner League) has decided to part ways with veteran point guard Jordan Farmar (188 cm, UCLA’06) this 2016. Farmar is an American basketball player who recently received his Israeli citizenship in 2015. He played eight games for them in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and recorded averages of 8.9 ppg and 2.8 apg. In his lone Eurocup game Jordan scored five points and handed out five assists. He appeared in a total of a dozen games in the domestic Israeli league and produced averages of 10.5 ppg and 4.1 apg. The team was not satisfied with his production and have found a replacement in Gal Mekel.
