Jon Diebler (198 cm, Ohio State’11) has agreed to terms on a deal to play for Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul (Turkey-BSL) for the 2017-18 season. The American guard has had some experience playing for a Turkish club in 2016-17, lending his talents to Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul (Turkey-BSL). Diebler played 29 games for them in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and posted averages of 6.5 ppg and 1.9 rpg. He also logged 22 games in the domestic Turkish league, there here recorded averages of 7.0 ppg and 2.3 rpg.
