John Smith signs with Satria Muda

John Smith (188 cm, Hawaii-Hilo ’09) has signed with Satria Muda BritAma Jakarta (Indonesia-NBL) for the rest of the season. Smith last played for the Saigon Heat (Vietnam-ASEAN League), where he average 9.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game over 21 games. In 2009-2010 he suited up for SSV Lokomotive Bernau (Germany-Regionalliga), playing eight games and averaging 12.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game before being released. Smith played his collegiate ball at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
