German League veteran, John Bryant (210 cm, Santa Clara’09) has been signed by the Giessen 46ers (Germany-BBL) to a long-term deal, keeping him with the team until 2020. There was initial speculation about Bryant returning to former team, Ratiopharm Ulm but the 46ers want to keep the big man on their roster. He brings a wealth of experience as well as a solid presence in the low post. He was a former league MVP and would be an asset to any team. Bryant played 34 games for Giessen 46ers in 2017-18 and recorded averages of 18.2 ppg and 10.6 rpg.
