The Mets de Guaynabo from Puerto Rico’s BSN have decided to part ways with French import Johan Petro (214 cm) this 2015. He signed with them early this year and managed to play 18 games and average 7.8 ppg and 9.4 rpg. Unfortunately, things did not work out between the big man and the club and he now hits free agency once again.
The former NBA center split his 2013/14 season playing in Asia and Europe. He kicked off the season playing for the Zheijiang Guangsha Lions (China-CBA). He stint was brief, logging seven games for the club and averaging 14.4 ppg and 9.9 rpg. Petro was released by the team in December 2013 and in February 2014 he returned to France and signed with Limoges CSP Elite (Pro A). In 21 games Johan was able to average 4.8 ppg and 2.8 rpg.
