Johan Petro inks with Guaynabo

Veteran French big man Johan Petro (214 cm) will be taking his talents to the Mets de Guaynabo from Puerto Rico’s BSN this 2015. The former NBA center split his 2013/14 season playing in Asia and Europe. He kicked off the season playing for the Zheijiang Guangsha Lions (China-CBA). He stint was brief, logging seven games for the club and averaging 14.4 ppg and 9.9 rpg. Petro was released by the team in December 2013 and in February 2014 he returned to France and signed with Limoges CSP Elite (Pro A). In 21 games Johan was able to average 4.8 ppg and 2.8 rpg.
