Joaquin Colom inks with Crvena Zvezda

Joaquin Colom (188 cm, G) has found his next team. The Spanish point guard is headed to Serbia and will join the squad of coach Sasa Obradovic. Colom played most of his professional career in Spain, but he has also ventured out and played a season in Russia and Turkey.

Colom played ACB and EuroLeague basketball last season for Valencia. There he averaged 6.4 ppg and 2.9 assists per ACB contest and 7.3 points and 4.2 assists in the Euroleague.

Joaquin Colom, 32 years old, brings loads of experience to the Serbian side. KK Crvena Zvezda Beograd (Red Star Belgrade) needs such experience as they are currently holding the 17th spot in the EuroLeague standings with a 4-10 record.
