Jimmy Baron now with Virtus Roma

Jimmy Baron (191 cm, Rhode Island’09) will continue his career with Virtus Roma from Italy’s SerieA this 2013-14 season. 27-year-old Jimmy played the 2012-13 season in Russia for Lokomotiv Kuban.

Baron logged 11 games in the Russian league and averaged 7.8 ppg and 1.1 rpg. He also played 12 games in the Eurocup representing Lokomotiv and there he hit averages of 10.7 ppg and 1.8 rpg, helping them win the Eurocup Championship 2013. He also played in the VTB United League and he posted averages of 9.8 ppg and 2.1 rpg. Lokomotiv Kuban reached the finals of the VTB United League in 2013.
