Hapoel Holon (Israel-Winner League) has opted to strengthen its roster with the addition of Jerry Smith (188 cm, Louisville’10) for the 2014-15 season. The 26-year-old guard spent the 2013-14 season playing for Tezenis Verona (Italy-DNA Gold). In 35 games Smith averaged 15.1 ppg and 3.9 apg. He helped his team reach the league semifinals in the post-season and his strong play during the regular season earned him a slot in the Italian DNA All-Star Game in 2014.
In 2012-13 Jerry played for Foxtown Cantu (Italy-SerieA) and averaged 5.2 ppg and 1.8 apg. He also played four games for them in the Euroleague and there he averaged 6.3 ppg and 1.8 apg.
