Jerome Coleman moves to Boca Juniors

Aerochaco Boca Juniors Capital Federal (Argentina, Liga A) have signed American point guard Jerome Coleman (187 cm, Rutgers’03), who last played with Greek A1 team A.G.O Rethymno Aegean. The move will mark Coleman’s first time in Argentina, and he will be joining a Boca Juniors team sitting within touching distance of the play-offs in 8th place with a 16-14 record.

Jerome Coleman has not had a contract during the first half of the 2012-2013 season, but for the 2011-2012 season he played for MBC Mykolaiv (Ukraine, Superleague) and averaged 10.4ppg, 2.3rpg, and 1.5apg. Coleman left Mykolaiv in March, 2012 and closed out the season with Aegean where he played four games. The 32-year old posted 6.0ppg and 1.8rpg before departing the Greek team before the 2012-2013 season started.
