Jermaine Taylor joins Lagun Aro

Jermaine Taylor (193 cm Central Florida’09) has agreed to terms with Lagun Aro (Spain-ACB) to complete the season. Taylor played four years with Central Florida University, were he finished his career with a scoring average of 16.2 points per game. As a junior he finished with an average of 20.2ppg and as a senior he finished at 26.2ppg. In the 2009 NBA Draft he was picked by the Washington Wizards in the 2nd round as the 32nd pick over all. He’s seen court time in 65 NBA contests and has averaged 5.4 points per games. He started the 2011-12 season with the Liaoning Panpan Hunters (China-CBA), but was picked up by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (US-D-League) where he averaged 7.1ppg over 26 games. he was picked up by the Minnesota Timberwolves as a free agent in Sept., 2012, but waived in Oct., 2012.
