Jermaine Taylor added by Hapoel Tel-Aviv

Former NBA guard Jermaine Taylor (193 cm, Central Florida’09) has been signed by Hapoel Tel-Aviv from Israel’s Winner League. He is coming from Spain, playing 10 games for Lagun Aro Gipuzkoa BC in the ACB. During that stint Taylor averaged 8.8 ppg and 3.1 rpg.

He’s been in and out of the NBA. After being drafted by the Washington Wizards in the second round (32 overall), he played 24 games for the Houston Rockets in 2009-10, but was assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in March ’10. In the 2010-11 NBA season he played eight games for Houston but was traded to the Sacramento Kings where he played 26 games and averaged 7.1 ppg and 1.2 apg. After that, he played briefly for the Liaoning Jiebao Hunters from China’s CBA, before making his way to play for Lagun Oro.
