Jeremy Pargo heads to CSKA

Jeremy Pargo (188 cm, Gonzaga’09) has been tabbed by CSKA Moscow (Russia, PBL, VTB United League, and Euroleague) to play with the team during the 2013/2014 season. The point guard has been playing with the Philadelphia 76ers and earlier the Cleveland Cavaliers during this season but will depart the NBA this summer to play with CSKA.

In 14 games with the 76ers this season the American averaged 4.9ppg and 2.0apg, while over 25 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers he logged 7.8ppg and 2.6apg. The 27-year old has also had previous NBA experience with the Memphis Grizzlies, where he played 42 games during the 2011/2012 season.

The only experience Jeremy Pargo has had away from his native USA has been in the Israeli Premier League where he played with Electra Tel-Aviv (2011) and Galil Gilboa (2010/2011).
