Jeff Greer gets extension from Poitiers

French Pro B team Union Poitiers Basket 46 has decided to keep Jeff Greer (196 cm, Rutgers’01) for two more seasons and has signed the player to a contract extension. Greer is an American player who also holds a passport from the Dominican Republic. He was a former member of the Dominican Republic National Team from 1998 to 2003 and 2009.

Jeff joined the club in November 2013 and played a total of 39 games for them. He played heavy minutes for them as a starter (30.9 mpg) and posted averages of 11.5 ppg and 4.6 rpg. Greer played the 2012-13 season in the French ProA for Strasbourg IG. He managed to play in 38 games and hit averages of 6.2 ppg and 2.8 rpg. He helped his team reach the finals of both the French ProA and the French Leaders Cup in 2013.
