Jeff Ayres (206 cm, Arizona State’09) is making his way to Japan this 2017 after signing a deal to play for Toyota Alvark Tokyo (Japan-B League). He is coming off a 22-game stint playing in the NBA D-League for the Los Angeles D-Fenders. During his brief run, Jeff dropped averages of 12.8 ppg and 4.7 rpg. Ayres began the 2016-17 season on the roster of Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow (Russia-VTB). He played four games for them in the Euroleague and averaged 6.0 ppg and 4.8 rpg. In three VTB United league games, Ayres posted averages of 4.7 ppg and 2.0 rpg.
