Jason Thompson signs in China

Jason Thompson (211 cm, F/C) is on the move to the Chinese CBA. There he will join the Shanghai Sharks.

Thompson started this season in the Spanish ACB. In 17 games, he averaged 8.2 ppg and 4.8 rebounds for Casademont Zaragoza.

Jason Thompson is 34 years old and has quite the resume. Thompson has played eight seasons in the NBA, seven of which in Sacramento. He has also played EuroLeague in Turkey with Fenerbahce.

Thompson played college basketball at Rider, where he averaged 20.4 ppg and 12.2 rebounds his senior year (07/08). He was drafted 12th overall by the Kings.
