Jarrod Kenny joins Licher Basket Baeren

Jarrod Kenny (188 cm), pointguard of the New Zealand National Team, has signed in Germany. His new team will be Pro B team Licher Basket Baeren. It is Kenny’s first contract outside of New Zealand. The last six seasons he played for the HBS Bank Hawks (NBL) where he last averaged 12.2 ppg and 5.1 aspg. The NBL in New Zealand doesn’t start until April 2015 while the regular season of the German Pro B ends in the first part of March. Jarrod Kenny has played for all age groups of the New Zealand National Team and was last active at the World Championship in Spain this summer, where his country lost the 1/8 final game 71-76 to Lithuania.
