Jarrod Jones heads to Albacomp

American forward Jarrod Jones (205 cm, Ball State’12) has been added to the roster at Hungarian A Division team Albacomp-UPC Szekesfehervar. The regular season has ended in Hungary with Albacomp topping the standings and now the team has bolstered its roster for the next stage by signing Jones.

Albacomp will need the talents of the American forward as Hungarian giants Szolnoki Olajbanyasz enter the next phase. Szolnoki has been playing in the Adriatic League and the Eurochallenge, but comes into the Hungarian play-offs as strong favourites.

Jarrod Jones is joining table topping Albacomp from BC Kiev (Ukraine) where he played 30 games and averaged 13.9ppg and 8.5rpg. The 22-year old is in his first year as a pro after leaving Ball State (NCAA) last summer.
