Jarrid Famous (209 cm, University of South Florida’11) will continue his professional career this 2016-17 with Maccabi Hunter Haifa (Israel-Winner League). Famous is a 28-year-old American player who also holds a Lebanese passport. He was a one-time member of the Lebanese national team in 2012. It was a busy 2015-16 for Famous so far. He started off being released by the Dallas Mavericks in October 2015. He then signed with Chinese club Fujian Quanzhou Bank (China-CBA). He played seven games for them and produced averages of 11.6 ppg and 8.6 rpg. In December 2015 he moved to Yulon Luxgen (Taiwan-SBL) and eventually agreed to terms with Sagesse – Al Hekmeh Beirut (Lebanon-Pepsi LBL). In seven games for Sagesse he posted averages of 18.9 ppg and 14.3 rpg. Jarrid finally signed with the Bucaneros de Guaira (Venezuela-LPB) in March 2016. In 23 games he averaged 12.3 ppg and 8.2 rpg.
