Jared Newson deals with Orchies

Jared Newson (195 cm, Tennessee-Martin) will remain with BC Orchies (France-ProB) for the remainder of the season after impressing over his stint. The American joined the club back in November and since then has averaged 9.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game. Earlier in the season Newson played for Crailsheim Merlins in the German BBL and over four games he offered numbers of 3.0 points, 2.0 boards, and 2.0 scoring passes per appearance.

Last season the swingman represented Saint Vallier Basket Drome in the French ProB, playing 22 games and averaging 11.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. Jared Newson has played in Finland, USA, and Australia in the past.
