Jared Homan joins Spartak St. Petersburg

Russia’s Spartak St. Petersburg (PBL) have landed 30-year-old Bulgarian-American Jared Homan (206 cm, Iowa State’05) as the latest addition to their roster for 2013-14. Spartak’s latest import was a former member of the Bulgarian National Team in 2010.

Homan played for German BBL club FC Bayern Muenchen in 2012-13. He logged in 40 games for Bayern Muenchen in the German Bundesliga and was able to put up averages of 9.1 ppg and 5.6 rpg. Jared helped the club reach the semifinals in both the German Bundesliga and the German Bundesliga Cup in 2013.
