Jamil Wilson (201 cm, Marquette’14) is set to strengthen the roster of Virtus Segafredo Bologna (Italy-Serie A) this April 2018. The 27-year-old Wilson originally started with Brose Baskets Bamberg (Germany-BBL), but headed back to the USA after landing a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers. He played 15 games for the new-look Clippers and averaged 7.0 ppg and 2.1 rpg. Wilson also logged five games with their G-League affiliate, the Aqua Caliente Clippers. In five games he posted averages of 12.2 ppg and 5.0 rpg. The forward was released in January 2018 and was inked by the Los Angeles Lakers. Wilson eventually made his way to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (G-League), there he recorded averages of 11.3 ppg and 4.2 rpg in 22 games.
