James Young back to Israel

James Young (198 cm, G/F) is back in Israel. Young signed with Hapoel SP Tel-Aviv in the Winner League. Last season he played for Maccabi Haifa and was the top score of the league with 20.5 ppg. He also grabbed 5.3 rpg and dished out almost 2 assists each contest.

Young started this season in the G League. There, he played 14 games for the Westchester Knicks. Young averaged 11.6 ppg and 4.6 rpg in 23 minutes per contest.

James Young also played 105 NBA games, mostly for the Celtics.

Young played one year of college basketball in the SEC, where he averaged 14.3 ppg and 4.3 rebounds for Kentucky. He was picked 17th in the NBA draft.
