James Florence joins NY Phantoms

James Florence (185 cm, Mercer’10) is one of the new additions to the New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig (Germany-BBL) for the 2013-14 season. Florence began the 2012-13 season playing in Ukraine’s Superleague for Kryvbasbasket-Lux Kryvyi Rih. He managed 25 games and averaged 15.6 ppg and 6.3 apg.

He left the Ukrainian team in January 2013 and moved to Szolnoki Olajbanyasz from Hungary’s A Division. James represented them in nine games in the Adriatic league and he averaged 12.6 ppg and 3.1 apg. In 21 games in the Hungarian league he hit averages of 14.2 ppg and 3.0 apg.
