Jamell Harris (206 cm, Eastern Michigan’13) is Asian-bound this 2014-15 season after agreeing to a deal with Al Kahraba Electricity (Iraq-Superleague). Jamell is expected to provide a strong interior presence for the club this coming season. Harris played his rookie season (2013-14) as a pro in Chile’s Liga Nacional for Club Deportivo Valdivia. He played 10 games for the Latin American club and was able to average 9.0 ppg and 6.7 rpg. During the 23-year-old forward’s senior year at Eastern Michigan he produced averages of 4.4 ppg and 4.1 rpg over 33 games. Harris helped his school win the MAC West Division regular season championship in 2012.
