Jamel Mclean stays with Bonn

Jamel Mclean (203 cm, Xavier’11) is staying in the German BBL to play with Telekom Baskets Bonn for the upcoming 2013/2014 season after renewing his contract with the club. The forward played for three teams during the 2012/2013 campaign. He started the season with Givova Scafati (Italy, LegaDue) before moving to Oostende (Belgium, Ethias league) where he played six games during December2012.

Jamel Mclean then moved to Bonn in January and finished the season with the German team, playing 21 games and averaging 13.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. Bonn president Wolfgang Wiedlich revealed he was happy to hang on to the American.
