Jamal Boykin signs with s.Oliver Baskets

Jamal Boykin (203 cm, California’10) has signed a deal to play for German BBL team s.Oliver Baskets Wuerzburg for the 2013-14 season. Boykin spent the 2012-13 season playing in the Netherlands’ Eredivisie league where he suited up for the GasTerra Flames Groningen. Jamal played 41 games for Groningen and averaged 12.7 ppg and 6.0 rpg. His team made it as far as the semifinals in the Dutch league in 2013.

He began 2011-12 playing in Cyprus for Papa Johns Nicosia, where he averaged 13.5 ppg in eight games, before moving to Japan in February 2012. In the Far East he played ball for the Iwate Big Bulls (Japan-BJ League) where posted averages of 10.7 ppg and 6.9 rpg.
