JaJuan Johnson signs for Pistoia

JaJuan JohnsonJaJuan Johnson (208 cm, Purdue’11) has penned a deal with Giorgio Tesi Pistoia (Italy, Serie A) that will see him play in Europe for the first time. Johnson has spent his entire career in the USA where he has flirted with the NBA on numerous occasions. Last season the power forward started the campaign with the Houston Rockets (NBA) before being moved to D-League franchise the Fort Wayne Mad Ants where he played 13 games and averaged 13.2ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.3apg, and 2.2bpg. He then moved to Canton Charge (D-League) where he averaged 8.2ppg, 5.0rpg, and 1.4bpg over 17 games. His tour of the D-League was not to end there as JaJuan Johnson also played 12 games for the Idaho Stampede last season and averaged 6.8ppg and 1.8rpg.
