Jacob Burtschi returns to Frankfurt

Jacob Burtschi (198 cm, Air Force’07) has signed to play next season with the Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (Germany, BBL) for what will be his second stint with the club. Burtschi played the 2012-2013 season with Eisbaeren Bremerhaven also of the German Bundesliga. The 29-year old forward played 33 times for Bremerhaven and posted averages of 9.8ppg, 4.9rpg, and 1.7apg.

Jacob Burtschi is celebrating his birthday today and will be enjoying it even more now that he has secured a move to the Skyliners for next season. The American played 22 games with the club last season in the BBL and averaged 8.2ppg, 4.5rpg, and 1.4apg along the way. He also featured in 2 Eurocup games with averages of 5.5ppg and 3.0rpg.
