Jackie Carmichael (206 cm, Illinois State’13) will begin his professional career in Spain this 2013-14. The 23-year-old Carmichael is set to play his rookie season for Spanish Liga Endesa team Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao Basket.

In his senior year at Illinois State, Jackie averaged 17.4 ppg and 9.3 rpg. Aside from his impressive scoring numbers, he also proved to be a solid defender, averaging 2.0 bpg and 1.0 spg as well. He received many accolades in 2013, some of which included being named to the All-MVC 1st Team, MVC All-Defensive Team, MVC All-Tournament Team and to the NABC Division I All-District 16 1st Team.
