Jack Cooley signs with Unicaja Malaga

Jack Cooley (206 cm, Notre Dame’13) has reached an agreement with Unicaja Malaga (Spain-Liga Endesa) and will be joining them this 2015-16 season. After his release from the Utah Jazz in October this year, Cooley joined the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was also eventually waived by the Cavs. In November Jack headed to the NBA D-League and signed with the Idaho Stampede. The Notre Dame alum played six games for the Stampede and averaged 14.5 ppg and 11.8 rpg. He will be a useful addition to Unicaja Malaga’s frontcourt rotation for the remainder of the season. The club is currently in 10th place in the Spanish League with a 4-4 record.
