Jabari Parker Out for Season with Torn ACL

Jabari Parker

An MRI result has revealed that Milwaukee Bucks’ rookie forward Jabari Parker (203 cm, Duke’14) has suffered a torn ACL in his left knee. The 19-year-old will require surgery to repair the complete tear and will likely miss the remainder of the season. This is an unfortunate turn of events for both the team and Parker. They were rushing his development and he was one of the viable contenders for the Rookie of the Year Award. He was able to play 25 games for the Bucks and was averaging 12.3 ppg and 5.5 rpg. Jabari was selected second overall in the 2014 NBA Draft and was signed to a four-year contract worth $22.3 million.
