Le Mans Sarthe Basket (France, ProA) unveiled a new player on the roster in the form of Izzet Turkyilmaz (214 cm) and the big man will hit the hardwood for the club this season. The Turkish player has been on the roster at Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul (Turkey, TBL and Euroleague) this season, but has not picked up many minutes on the court. Last season with Fenerbahce he played 27 TBL games and from limited minutes offered 2.8 points and 2.5 boards per game. The center also featured in five Euroleague games and in the elite competition secured figures of 1.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Izzet Turkyilmaz has never played outside of his home country before, so his stint in Le Mans will be a career first.
