China’s Fujian Quanzhou Bank (CBA) has recently added Iranian Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami for the 2013-14 season. Bahrami is a 10-year veteran with the Iranian National Team and was recently part of the successful squad that dominated the 2013 FIBA Asia Championships held in Manila, Philippines. He played nine games in that grueling tournament and averaged 12.8 ppg, 3.2 rpg and 4.2 apg, as he worked like point-forward for his team. He will get some time to sharpen his skills as he awaits to participate in the World Championships in 2014.
Bahrami began the 2012-13 season playing in his home Iran for the Superleague team Mahram Tehran. He played five games for them in the Asian Club Championships and averaged 14.8 ppg and 5.0 rpg. He logged 10 games in the Iranian league and there he posted averages of 22.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg.
