Ioannis Sfairopoulos returns to Olympiacos (Greece-A1) and will be the new Head Coach of the Greek Powerhouse. He is coming in as a replacement for Giorgos Bartzokas, who left the club earlier. Ioannis Sfairopoulos will be bringing in some fresh perspective and coaching direction for the team. As an assistant coach he started the 2012/2013 season with the Houston Rockets (NBA), while in November 2012 became the new head coach of Panionios (Greece-A1). Ioannis helped his Greek team reach the Greek League Semifinals during the 2013/14 season. Ioannis Sfairopoulos’ new team, Olympiacos, has a 2-1 record in the A1 League and 3-0 in the EuroLeague.
