Ilkan Karaman to sign with Antibes

Turkish forward Ilkan Karaman (205 cm, F) is about to sign with the French Pro B team Antibes. He will replace the injured Sadio Doucoure (200 cm, F). Karaman has played for all Turkish National Team selections (starting from U16 and up) and was picked 57th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets. But he never played any games in the NBA. Instead, he stayed at home and made big money in the Turkish league. Last season he decided to try his luck in France. Head coach, and fellow countryman, Erman Kunter brought him to Cholet, and Karaman eventually averaged 4.3 ppg and 1.9 rpg in the French Pro A.
