Ike Diogu returns to Leones de Ponce

Ike Diogu (204 cm, Arizona State’05)  will be making comeback with Puerto Rican BSN club Leones de Ponce this 2013-14. The Nigerian-American forward played for them in 2013, signing with the team in May. Diogu began this season on the roster of the New York Knicks. In December 2013 he moved to the D-League team Bakersfield Jam. In 42 games Ike produced solid averages of 18.6 ppg and 9.8 rpg. His impressive run merited him a spot in D-League All-Star Game 2014. During his last stint with Leones de Ponce, Diogu averaged 19.0 ppg and 8.6 rpg in 41 games in the Puerto Rican league.

Ike was a member of the USA National Team in 2003 and the Nigerian National Team in 2012 and 2013.
