Hodge to St. Petersburg

Walter Hodge (183 cm, Florida’09) parted company with Laboral Kutxa Vitoria (Spain, Liga Endesa) and has signed for Russian VTB League team Zenit Saint Petersburg. The American with Puerto Rican citizenship has been playing in the BSN during the summer for Capitanes de Arecibo and over 47 games he averaged 16.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, while he also finished number one for assists with 6.8 dimes per game.

The point guard played for Laboral Kutxa Vitoria during the 2013/2014 season and over fifteen Liga Endesa games Hodge secured averages of 6.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. He also featured in fifteen Euroleague games and averaged 7.8 points and 3.1 assists per game.

Walter Hodge has previously played in Poland and the Dominican Republic.
