Veteran big man Hilton Armstrong (210 cm, Connecticut’06) has agreed to terms with Japanese club Chiba Jets (Japan-B League) and will reinforce their frontcourt this 2016-17. This will be a change for Armstrong who has spent the last couple of seasons playing for Turkish teams. He began the 2015-16 season on the roster of Tuyap Buyukcekmece Basketbol (Turkey-BSL), where he played four games and averaged 5.3 ppg and 5.0 rpg. In November 2015 the 31-year-old former NBA center headed to Sinpas Denizli Basket SK (Turkey-TBL), where he ended up finishing the season. Hilton played 32 games for them and produced averages of 13.9 ppg and 11.0 rpg.
