Former NBA big man, Henry Sims (208 cm, Georgetown’12) will be reinforcing the frontcourt of Vanoli Cremona (Italy-Serie A) this 2017-18 season. Sims played for two different teams in 2016-17 and traveled across two different continents to play hoops. Henry started the season on the roster of the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA D-League but moved to China to play for Shanxi Zhongyu (China-CBA), where he 11 games and recorded averages of 22.4 ppg and 11.6 rpg. Sims would later rejoin his D-League club after his short stint in Asia. In 25 games for the Stars, the center managed to notch averages of 17.0 ppg and 9.2 rpg.
