Sport-Club Itzehoe has retained the services of point guard Thorben Haake for a fourth season, the club announced recently. During the 2011-12 season Haake averaged 6.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game for the Eagles. Coach Paul Larysz commented on Haake’s re-signing, “I am happy that a known face is staying not only for the team, but also for the fans. He is a very ambitious player and still has potential. He has a lot of desire to have success.”
